Shawn Harris began Nature's Pride back in 2001. Not long after, in 2006, they founded their own in-house packaging company; Nature's Pack. After a fire burned down the facilities that same year, they quickly recovered and continued to flourish. Their popular EAT ME brand focuses on providing accessible exotic fruits and vegetables year-round and information on where they came from, health benefits, and how to eat them.

Along the way they've been presented with the Latin American Trade Award, obtained the Fair for Life certification, started the Nature's Pride Foundation, opened their own boot camp site to promote employee health and vitality, collaborated with Apeel Sciences to reduce food waste, and expanded the ripening capacity from 13,608 to 331,000 boxes a week.
