Me & the Bees Lemonade was founded by little Mikaila Ulmer when she was just 4 years old! After being stung by a bee (twice!) she had no ill feelings for her new beautiful friends. Instead, she researched and learned all about these busy little creatures and was inspired to create Me & the Bees Lemonade with the help of her family. The original recipe for her flaxseed lemonade comes from her Granny Helen who provided her special recipe for Mikaila to enter competitions and sell her product from her lemonade stand at home.

From the beginning, Mikaila has been donating a percentage of profits to several organizations to help save the bees. She is also involved in the Healthy Hive Foundation, travels for public speaking on entrepreneurship, leads workshops on how to save bees, and wrote her first book Bee Fearless, Dream Like a Kid. Oh yes, and attends classes. With five flavors offered all around Texas, we look forward to seeing what else Mikaila and her bees have to offer.
