Yes, on the website you can see what components are going to be in your produce box for the coming week. Please note that the content list of the box is not 100% due to harvest complications that may arise and cause a last minute change in the contents.
We strongly believe in eating local, so the majority of produce we sell is from Texas, most from farms within 150 miles of Austin. We venture a little farther out for specialty items like citrus, avocados, apples and mangoes. We also understand that not everyone wants to eat seasonally 100% of the time, so we have also carefully selected a handful of farms outside of Texas in order to be able to offer you organic favorites such as bananas and grapes in our Harvest Boxes.
The Large Boxes should serve about 4 people per week, the Medium Boxes should serve 2-3 people per week, and the Small Boxes about 1-2 people per week (depending on diet, lifestyle and cooking habits).
Yes! If you receive a Local Produce Box, you can designate up to 3 fruit or vegetable dislikes on your account, which will be substituted with other available seasonal produce. When you're signed in, go to 'My Account' and select 'Acct. Options.' Click the link to ‘Modify Your Personal Information’ and choose your vegetable dislikes. You can do this once, seasonally, or even weekly! At this time, we're not able to take 'dislikes' into account for our Harvest Boxes. For any additional produce/dietary preferences, please email our customer service team at [email protected] and we will add long-standing notes to your account. 
Almost all of our produce is grown with organic practices; many of our small family farmers do not have the resources to afford organic labeling on their products and therefore cannot be labeled as 'Certified Organic' under the USDA. On rare occasion we will source conventional produce, though this does not happen frequently. All of our produce in the Local Produce Box is 100% locally raised in the state of Texas.

Yes! All order subtotals over $49.50 qualify for free delivery. Orders between our delivery minimum of $28 and $49.49 will include a $7.99 delivery fee. 

All orders will be subject to a Recurring Sustainability Fee of 5% on orders of $200.00 or less, $10.00 on orders $201.00 and more.
We accept all major credit cards.
Absolutely! Just make sure we have your gate codes or any other special instructions for our drivers.
Farmhouse Delivery currently does not deliver to PO box addresses.
Deliveries are packed in either reusable closed-top tote bins or insulated bags and are packed with recycled frozen water bottles or ice packs. During the hottest parts of the year, we recommend having a friend or neighbor collect your items for you if you'll be away most of the day.
Our deliveries generally run between 8am and 8:30pm. Due to our sustainable routing process, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee delivery times, but if the phone number on your account can receive text messages, you will receive a 2 hour approximate heads up of your delivery arriving, and then another message when the driver is headed your way!
We offer a weekly changing selection of Meal Kits, as well as a variety of groceries, including meat and poultry cuts, farm-fresh dairy and eggs, artisan baked goods, pantry staples and some prepared foods. You can add them to your order just once or with every delivery. Visit our market page and add your selections any time.

The order deadline is 3pm two days before your delivery day. (Ex. If you receive deliveries on Friday, you will have until 3pm on that Wednesday to finalize your order.) At the time of your order deadline, your current cart will be considered your finalized order. Your order cutoff time is reflected on the Shopping Cart page next to the 'Totals' column for easy reference.

Our checkout process is unique in that there is no checkout button. Items placed in your cart will be automatically finalized at the cut off time of 3PM - 48 hours before your delivery day and will arrive on your scheduled delivery day. Orders that do not meet the delivery criteria will be automatically cancelled after the cutoff time. (For delivery criteria, see "Do you offer free delivery")

If you want to skip or pause a week of deliveries on your produce box, rancher box, or meal kit subscriptions, simply navigate to your weekly cart and click the X icon to remove that subscription from your current week's order.

You can also skip full orders up to 6 weeks in advance too! To skip, Log In to your account, head to your Upcoming Deliveries page and locate the order you'd like to skip. Select the 'Skip Delivery’ link to the right of the delivery details.

To fully remove recurring items and subscriptions from all future orders, please contact our Customer Service department at [email protected] As long as this is done by the cut off time for your order, it will remove the item from all upcoming orders. If changes are made after the cut off time for your next order, the changes will go into effect with the following week's order.

*Please note that due to the nature of our fresh, seasonal ingredients, the Meal Kit Subscription cut off is different than the cut off for grocery items. Meal Kits cancellations, additions or changes must be done by midnight on Tuesday night, one week before your delivery. If you have an emergency and need to cancel your upcoming Meal Kit after this time, please contact our Customer Service department at [email protected] 

Did you know you can always skip orders up to six weeks in advance? To skip, Log In to your account, head to your Upcoming Deliveries page and locate the order you'd like to skip. Select the 'Skip Delivery’ link to the right of the delivery details.

If you decide to cancel your account or cancel a subscription from your cart, contact our Customer Service team at [email protected] or call 512-529-8569 at least 48 hours before your delivery day, and we'll take care of the cancellation process.

Please note that any order shown as ‘Ordered Processed’ on your Upcoming Deliveries page has already been processed and cannot be canceled.

A friendly reminder that you’ll be responsible for all charges incurred for any orders that have already been processed.

Your experience is important to us. While we don't accept returns in most cases due to the nature of our business, if we can make it right, we will! We are proud to offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and if you are unhappy with a particular item, please notify us via phone or email within 14 days of receiving your order and we will be happy to arrange a credit or replacement item.
This $9.99 fee is required for placing any type of order, including subscriptions and a la carte orders. The one-time fee of $9.99 is due upon sign-up and covers the costs associated with reusable packaging. 
We do everything we can to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your order. If you aren't completely satisfied, please let us know within 14 days of your delivery ([email protected]) and our customer service team will happily make it right. From replacement product to an account credit or a refund, we will process it as soon as we receive it because we want to make sure you are taken care of!
Your fresh produce comes in plastic bins, which we reuse. Please leave the empty bin outside on your next scheduled delivery day, and the driver will make the exchange. We also reuse as much of the packing materials (ice packs, recycled water bottles, and insulated bags) as possible. If those items are salvageable, please leave them in the empty bin.
Farmhouse Delivery offers more variety, flexibility and convenience than a typical Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. Because we source from many different farms, we can offer a broader variety of produce throughout the growing season. Unlike a CSA, you do not have to pay for the season up front, and you can skip a delivery or alter your schedule as needed. You only pay for the deliveries you receive. You can also customize your Local Produce Box and let us know which fruits and veggies best satisfy your needs. Best of all, we come to you!
No. It is currently illegal to sell raw milk outside of farm locations. We do however sell raw milk cheese.
Farmhouse rigorously quality tests every meat supplier who hand-selects every cut. We only believe in pasture-raising animals and humane processing practices. We support ranchers who treat their animals with kindness and respect and feed their animals using the same food standards of which we hold our own food. 
It's here! As of Wednesday, February 28, our website debuted with a new look, designed with you in mind. We've spent the past few months working on an easier ordering system and a flexible shopping cart to fit your lifestyle.
One of the biggest changes you'll see is that you will no longer be ordering your Supper Club Meals (now called 'Meal Kits') through a Google Form. Instead, you'll be able to choose your meals through your account on the website!
Here's how to do it:
Step One: Shop The Menu
You will select your Meal Kits via your cart on the website, not via email. To choose your menu, log into your account on the website and click on the basket in the upper right-hand corner. Your Meal Kit Subscription will appear in every week's cart. To access the week of meals you want to choose, click on the date to see your cart expand. If you're not already past the deadline to order for that week's meals, you'll see an orange button titled 'customize box'. Click that box.
You aren't required to select your meal kits; if you do nothing you will still get meal kits as your account will default to recipes based on your previous order history. 
Step Two: Choose Your Meals
Each meal is ordered by the 2-serving. So if you order a quantity of two, you'll receive a 4-serving of that meal.
You'll also see that two of the four meals will have a default quantity of 1 applied. These are the meals you will receive if you do not select your own meals.
To choose your own meals, change the quantity or click the + or - buttons.
IMPORTANT: If you want to SKIP YOUR MEALS, simply click the "x" on the far right next to the order for that week.
Yes! Tipping your driver is not required, but it is certainly appreciated. You can leave a one-time tip, or a recurring tip to show your appreciation for every delivery you receive. Here's how to do it:

  1. When you login to your account, you should be taken to a page that lists all of your upcoming deliveries and the contents of your cart. On the right, you'll see a line for your order 'Subtotal', with a line for 'Tip' just beneath that. Click on the red dollar amount '$0.00'.
  2. A pop-up window will appear where you can fill in the tip you'd like to leave. If you want to leave a recurring tip, click the box that reads 'Make default for this route's upcoming deliveries'. Click the 'Save' button.
If your tip doesn't automatically show on the screen, just refresh your page, it should appear in the tip line. As always, if you do have any questions, you're always welcome to reach out to our customer service team at [email protected]
Yes, yes, and yes! We offer 10% off of Produce Box and Meal Kit subscriptions. To claim your discount, send an email to [email protected] requesting your veteran, senior (65 yrs+), or teacher discount, along with proof of credentials and our customer service team will send you the code to use at sign up. If you're already a member and want to claim your discount, send an email with the above information and let us know that you already have an account, we'll set you up from there!
Yes! For all of us here at Farmhouse, there is no greater compliment than your referral. We love it so much that you get a $10 credit every time you refer a friend. Just tell your friend to enter your full name or email address during sign up (correct spelling helps us make sure your credit goes to the right account) and you can start racking up the rewards - there's no limit to how much you can earn!
Your Farmhouse shopping cart will reflect your unadjusted subtotal for the week, but rest assured this credit will automatically apply to your upcoming order. All credits can be viewed by going to your My Account menu (click on your name in the right-hand corner of the screen) and selecting the "Delivery History" section.
