Description
For a great date night in Austin, Bufalina is a local favorite. Now you can recreate the experience in your own kitchen with their delicious Neopolitan-style dough and pizza sauce!Kit includes :
2 pizza Bufalina doughs
1 Bufalina pizza sauce
You are in possession of Bufalina's Neapolitan pizza dough--a traditional, long-fermented dough that is identical to what Bufalina uses in their restaurants. For best results:
- Thaw pizza dough and sauce in refrigerator overnight.
- Preheat a pizza stone, pizza steel, inverted cast iron pan, or baking sheet at your oven's maximum temperature. Neapolitan dough does best in high-heat environments.
- Remove dough from the refrigerator and its container an hour or two before using. Ideally, rest the dough on a lightly floured surface, like a countertop, covered by a dish towel or plastic wrap. Lightly flour the top of the dough to prevent the towel or wrap from sticking.
- Lightly flour parchment paper, then roll out or press the dough into a rough 9-10" circle. For easiest oven transfer, open the dough directly onto a lightly floured pizza peel. (If you don't have a peel, you can use the underside of a baking sheet.)
- Spread the dough with 2-3 Tbsp. of sauce, leaving a 1" border, then top with your favorite cheese, meats, and veggies. Keep in mind that the less sauce and toppings you add, the crispier the Neopolitan crust.
Ingredients
Dough: Flour, water, salt yeast
Sauce: Organic tomatoes, salt
