Includes:


  • 1 lb avg Greek Marinated Boneless Chicken Breast, frozen

  • 1 Fresh Greek Salad

  • 6 count Pita Bread


You will need:


  • Oil


Hands on Time: 10 minutes; Total Time: 25 minutes

Note: Thaw chicken in the refrigerator 24-48 hours prior to cooking.

STEP 1 Place a large skillet or grill pan over medium to medium-high heat. Add 1 tbsp. oil to coat the bottom of the skillet and brush the ridges of the grill pan, if applicable. While the pan heats, remove the chicken from the packaging and lightly pat with a paper towel to remove excess moisture. 
STEP 2  Add the chicken to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes without moving. Allow the chicken to brown and develop grill marks, which will make it easier to release from the pan. Turn the chicken breast and cook for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165F when measured at the thickest part. Thinner or smaller pieces of chicken breast will cook more quickly; remove them to a cutting board and tent with foil. Rest the cooked chicken breasts for at least 5 minutes to let the juices settle before slicing against the grain.
STEP 3  While the chicken is resting, warm the pita bread in a dry skillet over medium heat until pliable, about 15 seconds per side. Alternatively, wrap in foil and warm in the oven.
STEP 4  Toss the Greek salad with the dressing, salt and pepper to taste. Serve the sliced chicken over Greek salad with warm pita bread triangles on the side, or add to a whole piece of pita bread and enjoy as a wrap.
