Slow and low cooking while layering flavorful ingredients are the keys to this pork shoyu ramen broth. In an effort to reduce waste, the leftover pork bones from our whole animal harvest and butchery program are roasted to develop dark, caramelized flavor, then simmered for hours with umami-rich ingredients. Bacon, onions, garlic and mushrooms provide a smoky, savory and aromatic base, while tamari and rice wine vinegar lend salt and acid to balance the rich pork flavor.

Enjoy the ramen broth with fresh noodles, topped with soft boiled eggs, seaweed and ground or roasted pork. Add seasonal veggies, like green onions, bok choy, brussels sprouts, cabbage, mushrooms, or even sweet corn! 

32 oz volume. Delivered frozen. Separation is natural.

Reheating Instructions: Thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour over cooked noodles and top with garnishes, as desired.
