Pasture-raised ground pork, fresh broccoli, onions, and red bell peppers are stir fried with Goody Green's savory sauce that lends rich umami flavor with sweetness from basil, and a slow mellow heat from Thai chilies. Ready in just 20 minutes. Serves 4. (Dairy Free, Nut Free)

Includes:
  • 1 lb Pasture-raised Ground Pork
  • 8 oz Spicy Thai Stir Fry Sauce
  • 1 lb avg Broccoli
  • 1 lb avg Onion
  • 1/2 lb avg Red Bell Peppers

You will need:
  • Neutral oil, such as avocado or safflower
  • Salt and pepper
Hands on Time: 20 minutes; Total Time: 20 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

STEP 1 
Prepare the vegetables. Chop the broccoli into small florets. Slice the bell pepper into 1/2-inch thick strips (discard stem, core and seeds). Chop the onion into 1/2-inch pieces (discard ends and outer layer).
STEP 2 
Heat a large high-sided skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add oil to coat the bottom of the pan. When the oil starts to smoke, add the broccoli. Season lightly with salt and saute for 3-5 minutes to cook until crisp tender with charred edges. Transfer to clean bowl and return skillet over heat. 
STEP 3 
Add 1 tbsp. oil to the skillet, if needed. Then, add the sliced onions and peppers. Season lightly with salt and sauté for 3-5 minutes to cook until crisp tender with charred edges. Transfer to bowl with broccoli and return skillet over heat.
STEP 4 
Add 1 tbsp. oil to the skillet and ground pork. Break the pork up with a wooden spoon into small crumbles. Sauté for 10 minutes or until browned and cooked through.
STEP 5 
Return the vegetables to the skillet with pork and add about 3/4 cup of Goody Greens stir fry sauce. Stir to coat and combine well, warming the sauce through. Season with salt, pepper and additional stir fry sauce to taste.

Serve with rice, quinoa or noodles, as desired.
