Includes:
  • 12 oz Tender Belly Sugar Free Pork Bacon, frozen
  • 8 oz Organic Cream Cheese
  • 6 oz Organic Shredded Mexican Blend Cheese
  • 4 oz Organic Jalapeno Peppers
  • 1 bunch Organic Green Onions
  • 2 oz Farmhouse Kitchen All Season Salt
You will need:
  • Sour Cream (1/2 - 3/4 cup)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1-2 quart Baking Dish
Hands on Time: 20 minutes; Total Time: 45 minutes

INSTRUCTIONS

Note:
Thaw bacon in refrigerator 24-48 hours prior to cooking. About 1 hour before preparing, set the cream cheese on your kitchen counter to each room temperature.

STEP 1 
Preheat oven to 350°F. Meanwhile, thinly slice the green onions and mince the jalapenos. Discard the seeds and white ribbing to reduce spice level. Set aside.

STEP 2  Add the thawed bacon to a large skillet over medium heat. Cook for 7-8 minutes, flipping occasionally, until evenly crisp. Transfer to a paper-towel lined plate to absorb excess oil, then chop into small pieces.
STEP 3  In a large mixing bowl, add the room temperature cream cheese. Beat with a hand mixer or wooden spoon until smooth. Add 1/2 - 3/4 cup sour cream, shredded cheese, minced jalapeno peppers, half of the sliced green onions and chopped bacon. Season with 2 tsp. all season salt. Mix until thoroughly combined. Taste and season with additional green onions, all season salt and black pepper. 
STEP 3  Transfer the dip to a small cast iron skillet or baking dish. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until hot and bubbly around the edges, and brown on top.
STEP 4 
Serve hot dip with tortilla chips.
