Bratwurst and sauerkraut are a timeless autumn favorite. In this Quick Dinner we turn up the volume with seasonal flavors - roasted Texas apples and an apple dijon vinaigrette, all served over wholesome fall-friendly farro.

This Quick Dinner Kit Includes:
1 lb (4 links) Eden's Cove Bratwurst
16 oz Madge's Rueben Slaw Sauerkraut
3 Crawford Ranch Apples
6 oz Homestead Gristmill Farro, uncooked
4 oz Farmhouse Kitchen Apple Dijon Vinaigrette

You Will Need:
Salt & Pepper
Canola, Olive Oil, or Some Other Neutral Tasting Oil

Instructions:

Serves: 4

Total Time: 25

Combine farro, 3 cups water, and 1 tablespoon salt in a small pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cover, allowing to cook for 20-25 minutes. Drain any excess water.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook bratwurst for 5 minutes per side, or until deeply browned.

While bratwurst is cooking, halve and core apples— chopping into large cubes. Add apples to skillet with bratwurst and transfer to the oven to finish cooking, about 8 minutes. Bratwurst should be at an internal temperature of at least 160°F and apples should be soft.

Add cooked farro to the skillet and toss with vinaigrette.Season with salt and pepper to taste. Divide desired amount of sauerkraut among plates and top with bratwurst, farro, and apples.
