Description
Each 2x4 inch square of honeycomb contains some of the finest local (check out the specific neighborhood on the front!) honey suspended in a delicate comb. This honeycomb does not come with a heavy layer of starter wax at the bottom which makes it more challenging for our beekeepers but easier to enjoy. Spread the soft comb on a baguette or toast and enjoy the melt in your mouth texture with jam or butter. Add pieces to baked goods, on top of oatmeal or enjoy in a salad for an extra special garnish. On a fateful day in Austin Texas, Tara took her first beekeeping class with a friend, Gina, now a member of the Two Hives team. Inspired and in love with the bees, Tara quit her government job to work for a beekeeper in East Texas rearing queen bees for 4 months. What started a solopreneur running hive tours for Meetup groups on 2 neighborhood hives has evolved into a socially conscious business that aims to educate our community, support other local businesses, and of course, offer you the best damn honey Texas bees can make.
