These Turnips have magenta or red colored skin. The outer part of the turnip tastes a bit like a red radish while the inside is sweet like an early turnip. After washing the turnips, peel the skin, cut into cubes or slices, and then cook by either boiling, roasting, steaming, or baking. Store root veggies in a plastic bag in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.
