Ordering Information

What are all the cutoff times I need to know?

For Tuesday deliveries: You need to meet the $40 minimum by Friday 3pm, and you can add extra items until Sunday 3pm.

For Friday deliveries: You need to meet the $40 minimum by Monday 3pm, and you can add extra items until Wednesday 3pm. New inventory drops every Wednesday at noon – these new items can be added to Friday orders before the Wednesday 3pm cutoff.

Remember, our capacity is limited. Meet the minimum early to ensure you get an order before we reach our limit. Also, be considerate of others. Only set an order if you are sure you want to receive one.

What is my order minimum?

To be eligible for delivery, your order must be at least $40  before any applicable fees and charges. We charge a $7.99 delivery fee, and purchases of $60 or more get free delivery.

What happens if I don't meet the $40 minimum by cutoff?

When will you charge me for my order?

A pre-authorization (a $1.01c transaction) will process when your cart reaches the $40.00 minimum for any order placed for delivery and again at order cut-off to ensure the credit card on file is valid prior to delivery. If a pre-authorization transaction was to decline on our first pre-authorization, it will send you an email letting you know that for the order and delivery to continue you will need to update card details prior to order cut-off date. Order Cut-off date for Tuesday deliveries is Friday 3pm, and for Friday deliveries cut-off is Monday 3pm.

On the order delivery day- we attempt to charge after the order has been packed on the morning of your scheduled delivery. If it is successful, your order is placed in the van and will be delivered. If the order charge declines the morning of, the delivery is removed from the van and an email is sent advising of this.

Where can I see my order receipt?

Once you log in to your Farmhouse account, navigate to Your Account and click on Manage Orders to see your full list of receipts. You will also receive an emailed receipt when we bill your card on the day of packing and delivery.

How do I manage my subscriptions?

For Friday deliveries, you can start shopping the Monday before at noon (e.g., start shopping Monday 2/10 for Friday 2/21 delivery).

Your cart will automatically show the soonest available delivery day, but you can change this by clicking your cart.

How do I select a different delivery day?

Go to your cart and then click on the tab that says “Select Delivery Day”. You will see a list of available deliveries to shop, just click “Shop" next to the date you want to shop and you’re all set. You’ll then see all the Add to Cart buttons across the site have now changed to reflect the date you wanted to shop for.

Can I add items to my order after I meet the minimum?

Yes! Once your order meets the minimum and is scheduled, you can continue adding any in-stock items until the final cutoff. For Tuesday deliveries, you can add items until Sunday at 3pm. For Friday deliveries, you can add until Wednesday at 3pm

How do subscriptions work with two delivery days?

When you subscribe to an item, it will only be added to your cart for the specific delivery day you choose. For example, if you subscribe to eggs for Tuesday delivery, they'll only be automatically added to your Tuesday orders until you end the subscription. Want the same items for both delivery days? You'll need to set up separate subscriptions for each day.

Our Products

Where does our produce come from and what are our sourcing guidelines?

We ardently support local food initiatives and farming practices, procuring the majority of our produce from Texas, with a notable portion sourced from farms in Austin and the surrounding areas.

We will be partnering with a variety of producers to offer as much produce & fruit diversity as possible all year round. To name a few; G & S Groves, Growtopia Farm, Simple Promise Farm, Farmshare Austin, Hamilton Pool Farm, Hotspell Farm, US Citrus, Larken Farm, Top Of Texas, and many more.

While local ingredients are fundamental to our mission, we acknowledge that certain essentials, such as mangoes or olive oil, may not always be locally available. Whenever possible, we prioritise local options but to satisfy the need for out of season or regionally unavailable goods, we enhance our outstanding local selections with a carefully curated assortment of products from other regions. All our suppliers, whether local or from afar, must share our commitment to organic practices (when able), sustainability and our core values.

What are the standards for your meat and do we process in house?

We support farms and ranches who treat their animals with care, kindness, and the utmost respect for their upbringing, quality of life, and diet. Farmhouse Delivery rigorously quality tests every meat supplier who hand-selects every cut. We operate with 100% transparency across the entire supply chain. We talk directly to our producers, visit their farms, and work to ensure that consumers can understand the origins of their food.

Our meat-production guidelines insist on humane practices - pasture-raised, grass-fed, and no added hormones or antibiotics. We hand cut center of the plate items in house to ensure quality and freshness.

What do we expect from our vendors?

Our vendors must uphold and hold true to the Farmhouse mission and share our vision for sustainably grown foods and practices.

We're looking for partnerships rooted in communication, collaboration, and the drive to produce high quality food for the community.
