INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Preferably, thaw tinga in the refrigerator overnight. Heat chicken tinga in a small saucepan or microwave until steaming. Gently warm tostadas in toaster oven or oven. Carefully halve avocadoes, remove seed, remove flesh with a spoon, and slice into thin slices.

Step 2 - Assemble tostadas. Place hot chicken tinga on the tostada followed by pickled red onions and top with a fan of avocado slices. Garnish with additional herbs, raw vegetables, salsas, or anything else you may desire.
