Inspired by the Aztec goddess of health, Toci, and a powerful line of matriarchs, Tozi Superfoods is an Austin-based, woman-owned company founded by two sisters — one with a background in sourcing and the other an oncologist with a background in nutrition — alongside their mamá. Together, they’re on a mission to celebrate the rich culinary heritage of Mexico, bridging the gap between tradition and modern wellness.

Our recipes are inspired by our six-generation regenerative ranch in Jalisco, where our mamá grew up and we spent summers making tortillas with our abuelas. We celebrate nutrient-rich ingredients like non-GMO heirloom blue corn – prepared through the traditional method of nixtamalization – and organic amaranth, a complete plant-based protein packed with antioxidants, fiber, and essential nutrients. This powerful blend honors ancient recipes from Western Mexico while making Tozi’s tortillas naturally higher in protein and fiber than regular corn tortillas — delivering delicious, authentic flavor loved by chefs and home cooks alike.
