Summer Garden Salad with Jala Pepa Green Goddess Vinaigrette
Serves 4 | Ready in 15 minutes
This bright and crunchy salad is bursting with seasonal vegetables and tossed in a creamy, herb-packed vinaigrette starring SAVIR Foods' Jala Pepa Hot Sauce . It's cooling, zippy, and endlessly versatile.
Ingredients:
For the Salad:
2 ears fresh sweet corn , kernels cut from cob
1 pint Village Farms cherry tomatoes , halved
1–2 cucumbers , sliced ??thin
1 red or yellow bell pepper , diced
¼ cup thinly sliced ??red onion or pickled red onion
1 avocado, cubed (optional)
4 cups salad mix or chopped butter lettuce
Fresh basil, cilantro, or mint for garnish
For the Jala Pepa Vinaigrette:
2 tbsp SAVIR Foods Jala Pepa Hot Sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice
1 tsp honey or agave (optional)
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh herbs (basil, parsley, or cilantro)
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions:
Make the Vinaigrette:
In a small bowl or jar, whisk together Jala Pepa, olive oil, citrus juice, honey (if using), chopped herbs, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Adjust to taste and set aside.
Prep the Produce:
Toss together corn, tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, red onion, and avocado (if using) in a large bowl. Add the greens and gently mix.
Dress & Finish:
Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad just before serving. Toss lightly and garnish with extra herbs or a few dollops of Jala Pepa for a pop of color and heat.
