Description
Dill's delicate, feathered appearance belies its distinctive tangy flavor. The chopped leaves are good in quiches, omelets, and other egg dishes. An entire stalk, flower included, can be placed in each Mason jar during a summer pickling session.

Quick Texas Dill Yogurt Sauce
Makes about 1 cup | Ready in 5 minutes
Creamy, herby, and tangy—this easy sauce is perfect for drizzling, dipping, or dolloping on everything from grilled meats to roasted veggies.
Ingredients:
½ cup Plain Yogurt (or Greek yogurt or plant-based yogurt)
2 tbsp fresh Texas dill, finely chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 clove garlic, grated or finely minced
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: zest of ½ lemon for extra brightness
Instructions:
Mix It All Together:
In a bowl, stir together yogurt, dill, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and lemon zest (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve or Chill:
Use immediately or let it chill in the fridge for 15–30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
How to Use It:
Spoon over grilled lamb chops, chicken thighs, or salmon
Use as a dip for raw veggies, kohlrabi fries, or roasted carrots
Drizzle over grain bowls, falafel wraps, or fresh tomato salads
Swirl into soups or use as a spread on sandwiches
