Daikon radish has a slightly sweeter flavor than other radish varieties. It's tender and crisp and makes for a great addition to soups, stir fries, salads, and grated into slaws; it also makes for an excellent pickle. Store Daikon in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator in a bag or wrapped in a slightly damp towel for up to 2 weeks.
