Dave and Meriann Sanford, started Sanford Bakery from their love of baking San Francisco style Artisan Sourdough bread with authentic live sourdough starter. It has been their passion and honor to cook and bake for the amazing people in their lives, and the adventure of opening the bakery is a natural extension of this passion for serving others. They have spent years working on the art of the tangy, chewy, scrumptious sourdough artisan loaves that San Francisco is so well known for. Moving to Round Rock from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2018, they bake every loaf with their beloved wild yeast starter (from the City of San Francisco), which is now over 15 years old! Every loaf is made by hand from wholesome ingredients.
