Paul Exley has over a decade of experience caring for poultry and is an enthusiast of all things birds. At Double Gate Farm, he and his family are committed to being thoughtful stewards of the land and the animals in their care.

Most of their hens are rescued from larger poultry operations that typically keep laying hens for a single laying cycle. Double Gate gives these birds a second chance at life on pasture, with daily access to grass and plenty of time outdoors. The hens are able to free range throughout the day or spend time in mobile coops that are regularly moved to fresh ground.
