Recipe
1) Thaw

Best: thaw in the fridge overnight.
Fast: keep sealed and submerge in cold water 30–45 minutes, changing water once or twice.

2) Make lemon-garlic butter sauce

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt:

4 oz Roasted Garlic & Herb Compound Butter

Add:

1–2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice (start with 1 Tbsp, add more to taste)

Keep warm on low.
Do not brown the butter—low heat keeps the garlic/herb flavors clean.

3) Steam the crab

Add ½–1 inch water to a large pot.

Bring to a gentle simmer.

Add a steamer basket (or a metal colander that fits).

Arrange crab clusters in a single layer.

Cover and steam 6–8 minutes until hot throughout.

4) Finish

Transfer crab to a platter.

Squeeze fresh lemon over the top.

Spoon some warm compound butter over the crab, and serve the rest on the side for dipping.
