Juan and Shakera started growing vegetables in 2009 with a family garden. Wanting the best for their growing family, the Raygoza’s decided to grow their own chemical free organic produce when it wasn’t locally available. The family garden grew into a market garden. Terra Preta is founded on nurturing the soil, honoring tradition, and growing with care. Certified USDA Organic, their growing methods extend beyond not using synthetic chemicals and focuses on improving soil health with composting, cover cropping, and diversified plantings. These methods are part of their commitment to producing clean and sustainably grown food that nourishes everybody and supports a healthier world.
