Steelbow Farm, led by Finnegan Ferreboeuf and Jason Gold, uprooted and relocated from Maine to Texas in 2019, taking over the Tecolote Farm.

They are intentional farmers- growing with the community in mind. They believe that great food is an integral part of enduring relationships. They currently cultivate two acres, intensively, organically, and sustainably. Their farming practices are intentional and deliberate- sourcing their inputs and seeds from small-scale, similarly organic, sources.

Steelbow farms with the health of the soil in mind, adding organic matter via cover crops and compost. They avoid tilling, in order to keep microbial life thriving. Their hands are their most cherished tools. They have simple goals; feed good people good food and care for the land so it will be happy and healthy for generations to come.
