New Leaf Agriculture trains and employs refugee farmers from traditional farming cultures in dignified work that reconnects them to farming in their new communities. They are part of the Multicultural Refugee Coalition (MRC) which is a nonprofit organization comprised of workers from over six countries.
"As a Certified USDA Organic farm, we don’t use any chemical pesticides or fertilizers, but instead employ soil conservation practices like cover cropping, composting, and crop rotation. These practices foster biodiversity to produce nutrient-dense vegetables in a thriving ecosystem."
